DIRECTORS AT LARGE
ATOM TEAM player/family representative
The Atom Team Respresentative will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to bring the voice and interests of the Atom team to WSFA Board meetings, initiatives and decision making.
We look to a parent/guardian of an Atom team player to fill this position.
Peewee TEAM PLAYER/FAMILY REPRESENTATIVE
The PeeWee Team Respresentative will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to bring the voice and interests of the PeeWee team to WSFA Board meetings, initiatives and decision making.
We look to a parent/guardian of a PeeWee team player to fill this position.
JB TEAM PLAYER/FAMILY REPRESENTATIVE
The Junior Bantam Team Respresentative will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to bring the voice and interests of the JB team to WSFA Board meetings, initiatives and decision making.We look to a parent/guardian of a JB team player to fill this position.
Field Coordinator
Each season, WSFA rents field spaces for practices, games and warmups. The Field Coordinator will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to ensure the field requirements for each season are managed and secured for all WSFA programs.
fundraising coordinator
The WSFA player registration fees cover the general cost of play each season. Eg. field rentals, association fees to VICFA & BCPFA, game officials and WSFA business expenses like gear storage. Additional funds are raised to ensure all costs are covered and to support additional items and events like our season wrap-up celebrations, awards, gear replacement, etc. The Fundraising Coordinator will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to engage the Westshore Football community in events to raise these additional funds.
Coach Coordinator
The WSFA is committed to assembling and supporting capable and responsible coaching leadership teams. The Coach Coordinator will employ this collaborative and responsible Board position to manage the WSFA Coach application process, lead and coordinate coach training opportunities and ensure that all coaches meet and/or exceed WSFA training requirements, uphold and demonstrate the elements of our Coach's Code of Ethics.
We look to one of our Head Coaches to fill this position.
GEAR COORDINATOR
The WSFA manages an inventory of player gear and field equipment to run Atom, PeeWee and Junior Bantam programs each season. The gear coordinator ensures that all WSFA gear is compliant and in good, safe working condition. The Gear Coordinator works with the WSFA Board to create and manage gear/equipment maintenance and replacement budgets and programs.
